Taste of Cairo’s name comes from the first and largest Middle Eastern Night staged in the UK. This seminal event featured live music, singers and dancers and inspired Tracey Gibbs, the originator & driving force behind the Taste of Cairo event, to set up her own dance agency.
Since the start in 1999, Taste of Cairo has become synonymous with exceptional dancing, an enduring love of Egyptian dance and professionalism. This formula has ensured repeat custom from regular clients as well as attracting new ones.
Tracey’s 15 years experience of performing, from restaurants to high profile government parties, have given her a wealth of expertise in knowing what clients need and want from a dancer. With this in mind, all Taste of Cairo dancers are hand picked by Tracey not only for their fabulous technique but also their stage persona and professionalism.
In addition, all dancers are advised by Tracey on costuming and presentation – an attention to detail which has led to the agency representing some of the countries most beautiful and talented dancers.
